What language level do I need?

Can I lose my PR status once I have it?
It’s possible — most commonly from spending more than twelve consecutive months outside Germany without good reason, a serious breach of your conditions of stay, or becoming dependent on social welfare.
Does a German PR let me work anywhere in the EU?
Not automatically. It secures unrestricted work and residence in Germany; a longer stay elsewhere in the EU typically follows only after six years of residence and depends on the destination country’s own rules.
